Utility Billing
Benson Municipal Utility Bills consist of sewer, water, garbage, and electric charges. Water meters are read monthly with sewer charges based on your water consumption during the winter quarter. The landlord at some rental properties may pay one or more of these charges.
Utility Bills are Due on the 15th of the month. If not paid by the due date a 1.5 percent penalty amount will be added and becomes due and payable. Past due accounts are subject to disconnection. Bills may be paid in person or mailed to 1410 Kansas Ave., Benson, MN 56215, placed in our drop box outside of City Hall on Kansas Ave., or automatically withdrawn from your checking or savings account. Benson Municipal Utilities accepts VISA and Mastercard credit card payments at the Utility Billing Office. Telephone payments can be made by calling 1-833-202-3635.
